When the weather warms up, it's natural to want to turn up the air conditioning and enjoy having a cool place to relax. However, your first electric bill of the summer can really turn the heat up on your finances. With that in mind, here are some tips to ensure that you save money and still beat the heat.
Don't run your AC nonstop while you're out
Keep your house warmer than normal when you are away, and lower the thermostat setting only when you are at home and need cooling.
Use your windows to stay cool
If you live in a climate where it cools off at night, turn off your cooling system and open your windows while sleeping. When you wake in the morning, shut the windows and blinds to capture the cool air.
Operate your thermostat efficiently
Avoid setting your thermostat at a colder setting than normal when you turn on your air conditioner. It will not cool your home any faster and could result in excessive cooling and unnecessary expense.
Use fans and ventilation systems
Using a ceiling fan will allow you to raise the thermostat setting about 4°F with no reduction in comfort.
Conduct an energy assessment
Find out where you are losing the most energy and where you can save the most. You can have a professional energy assessment or do it yourself for free using this Home Energy Saver auditing tool.
2012 RTW FALL LINE
okay so if you have followed and read my blogging then you know I love Vicki's line...She manages to bring a classy and yet edgy look to her fashion. Now ladies if you are very petite I should say then you can definitely get away with this look without a cover. However if you are shapely then you should be wearing a shall or something to add on to this. I say this because it is form fitting. I love all three but my favorite is the picture in the center...I love it :) well thank you for reading what Summer Jae is writing :)
I don’t know about you but when I heard that Louis Vuitton‘s creative director Marc Jacobs and Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama will be collaborating on a collection I was ecstatic. I love LV collabs and I haven’t been excited for LV bags since the release of the Murakami ‘Monogramouflage’ collection! I’m personally a big fan of polka dots (reminds me a bit of COMME des GARÇONS and the red/white ones are so Minnie Mouse!), so I can’t wait to get my hands on some of the pieces. Here’s the first look at the collection lookbook...

The Lord is always willing and able to remake flawed lives. I am so fortunate and blessed that he chose to remold mine. In the process of creating this album I have endured so much. The feeling of abandonment, confusion, church hurt, heartache, the feeling of not enough, and so much more. But God has never let me down and with this gift he has given to me, it is most important that I share it. This new album shows the many sides of me and my trials as a wife, mother, artist, and an overall christian woman. J.U.S.T. M.E. touches on my realistic moments, situations, and topics. I even touched on love. Some will love it and some will hate it. But whatever God has for me nothing and noone can hinder. I am so excited to share my ministry. I want to bless those who can and cannot relate. This album God willing will be supported reach the masses. So some would say good luck but luck has nothing do with it. So I THANK GOD IN ADVANCE! xoxo
